Product Overview

MOLYKOTE® BG-20 Bearing Grease is a high-performance synthetic polyol ester (POE) based grease to protect bearings under medium to heavy loads.  It is also an ideal grease for metal-on-metal surface interaction with rapid movements.

MOLYKOTE® BG-20 Grease is formulated completely free of lead or nickel to avoid metal reactivity and damage. It does not sacrifice high load-carrying capability due to its performance additive package for extreme pressure (EP) and anti-wear (AW). MOLYKOTE® BG-20 Bearing Grease exhibits incredibly high thermal stability across a broad service temperature range of −45°C to 180°C (−49°F to 356°F) and up to 200°C (392°F) for short periods of time.

Applications

Prior to applying MOLYKOTE® BG-20, the surface of the component should be clean and free of all dust, dirt, and debris. MOLYKOTE® BG-20 Bearing Grease can be applied by hand via grease gun, spatula, brush, or automatic lubricating system.

MOLYKOTE® BG-20 Grease is suitable for a range of bearings in industrial equipment, including but not limited to the following:

Medium- to heavy-loaded equipment
High to very high RPM speeds
Extremely high-temperature exposure
Clutch release bearings
Blower and calender roller bearings
Electric motors
