Technical support is available starting with our trained distributor network to answer product related questions and help with making product recommendations. Applications requiring more consideration may make use of Dow Silicones Technical Customer Service, and beyond this, Application Engineers are available to more fully work with prototypes or design/perform testing which helps to identify the correct product solution through data creation.
With a long history of MOLYKOTE® comes the ability to draw on product performance in real applications and knowing what has worked well in the past to more quickly get to a plausible solution for the next lubrication problem. If it is found that the right product just does not exist, we can partner with the customer to identify the needs and work to develop a new product that does meet the needs.
A wide variety of ASTM, DIN, ISO and other standard tests can be conducted in North America as well as other locations around the globe. Laboratory capabilities range from basic physical properties to specialized equipment for load, friction or wear. Other capabilities include full corporate resources from DuPont for prototyping, imaging and analytical testing. Manufacturing equipment is also available to develop new products in a small scale setting prior to advancing to full scale production.
