Product Overview

MOLYKOTE® 1122 Chain and Open Gear Grease is a synthetic polyisobutylene (PIB) based grease with solid lubricant additives for excellent high-pressure stability. It is formulated with an inorganic thickener and has improved adhesion performance for better stay-in-place performance and prevention of grease migration.

MOLYKOTE® 1122 Chain and Open Gear Grease exhibits incredible stability and protection against surface wear. It can be used successfully via hand application (brush, spatula, grease gun), as well as automatic lubrication systems.

Applications

MOLYKOTE® 1122 gear grease is an ideal lubricant for a wide range of applications, including the following:

Heavily loaded chains and open gear systems
Hollow pins and bushings
Tenter clamps and chain systems
Conveyor chains
Open drive and gearboxes
Sliding bearings at low speed or high temperatures
Industrial calendering machines
