Oxidation resistance can be defined as the resistance of lubricants to react with oxygen which may cause them to degrade and breakdown. Select MOLYKOTE® lubricants are formulated with various silicone fluids which enhance stability and resist the breakdown due to oxygen. Other MOLYKOTE® product options may make use of other synthetic base fluids resistant to oxidation or have anti-oxidant additives to help resist oxidation as well.
