MOLYKOTE® Longterm 2/78 Grease is a specialized automotive lubricant engineered for metal-to-metal friction contacts in chassis and suspension systems operating under high loads and slow to moderate speeds. This mineral oil-based grease features a lithium/zinc soap thickener combined with solid lubricants, oxidation inhibitors, and corrosion inhibitors to deliver extended service life in demanding automotive applications. The lead-free and nickel-free formulation provides exceptional protection across a wide temperature range from -35°C to 130°C (-31°F to 266°F).

Designed specifically for automotive tie-rod linkages, axle rod linkages, ball joints, and suspension components, MOLYKOTE® Longterm 2/78 Grease addresses critical failure modes including false brinelling and fretting corrosion that commonly affect chassis systems exposed to vibration, moisture, and repeated micro-movements.
