Product Overview

MOLYKOTE® 3400A Anti-Friction Coating (AFC) is a premium dry film lubricant designed for metal-on-metal interfaces that operate with very high loads at slow to medium-fast movement speeds.  MOLYKOTE® 3400A AFC is heat cured and provides superb extended-term lubrication that is highly resistant to corrosion and removal by solvent exposure. MOLYKOTE® 3400A Anti-Friction Coating is a versatile lubricant solution with excellent corrosion protection that easily adheres to metal surfaces.

Applications

For best performance, prior to applying MOLYKOTE® 3400A Anti-Friction Coating, the metal surface should be cleaned and free of grease or contaminants. Just before application, MOLYKOTE® 3400A should be stirred and can be applied via spray, dip, painting, or centrifuging. If a thinner is required, MOLYKOTE® L13 is recommended.

DuPont MOLYKOTE® 3400A Anti-Friction Coating can be utilized in many applications that require corrosion and solvent protection, including the following:
