Product Overview

MOLYKOTE® P-74 anti-seize paste is formulated with a high-quality, synthetic PAO (polyalphaolefin) base oil and solid lubricants for excellent high-load capability and corrosion-prevention performance.  Combining base oil and solid lubricants enables this anti-seize paste to operate over a wide temperature range (−40°C to 200°C). Additionally, MOLYKOTE® P-74 has a high load-carrying capability while providing good corrosion protection and a consistent coefficient of friction.

MOLYKOTE® P-74 is metal free in its formulation, avoiding environmental contamination and fastener brittleness. It has a low coefficient of friction that facilitates easy assembly and disassembly. Additionally, MOLYKOTE® P-74 anti-seize paste can be applied uniformly, even after repeated tightening and loosening. The consistency of this paste aids in uniform clamping forces on flanges, valves, and housing while increasing safety against bolt fractures and loosened screws brought on by vibration.
