Product Overview
MOLYKOTE® 1000 Paste is a premier lubricant solution for long-term corrosion protection and seizure prevention in metal joints and fasteners. MOLYKOTE® 1000 is formulated with a high-performance mineral oil base and several solid lubricant additives, including graphite and copper, for enhanced load-carrying capacity. This lead- and nickel-free anti-seize paste reduces wear and optimizes friction between threaded fasteners or metal-to-metal joints.
MOLYKOTE® 1000 has incredible thermal stability and can withstand temperatures up to 1202°F (650°C) without oil loss or evaporation. This blend of mineral base oil and solid lubricant additives enables equipment coated with MOLYKOTE® 1000 to be dismantled in a nondestructive manner, even after exposure to high temperatures. For oiled bolts, the coefficient of friction of the paste remains unchanged, even after multiple cycles of tightening and loosening.
