Product Overview

MOLYKOTE® P-1042 Adhesive Grease Paste is a premium tacky-lubricant solution formulated for excellent adhesion performance and long-term lubrication.  MOLYKOTE® P-1042 is formulated from a mixture of mineral and synthetic base oils, a lithium soap thickener system, and additional solid lubricant additives for extreme-pressure and anti-wear performance (EP/AW).

MOLYKOTE® P-1042 exhibits excellent high-load capability and resists migration and water washout. Additionally, this adhesive grease paste avoids tribocorrosion and is highly durable due to its high tackiness.

Applications

MOLYKOTE® P-1042 Adhesive Grease Paste is an ideal lubricant solution in a wide range of applications and can be applied via brush, spatula, grease gun, or automatic lubrication systems.

MOLYKOTE® P-1042 is best suited for equipment with sliding surfaces under heavy loads and subjected to environments with high water or emulsion presence. MOLYKOTE® P-1042 is also ideal for harsh metal-to-metal applications under high loads, variable temperatures, and if humidity is present.
